This missile can also be fired up to a distance of 3,500 km. Agni-IV has new technical features and modern system to ensure improvement in its performance.

Also, in 2001, 2007, 2008, she has been awarded five times by DRDO for the development of specialized technologies. Distinguished scientific awards like ‘Kalpana Chawla Award‘, ‘Suman Sharma Award‘ and ‘India Today Woman of the Year‘ title were given in 2009.
