DJ Moore is an American football wide receiver who currently plays for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL).

Born on April 14, 1997, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Moore attended Imhotep Charter High School, where he played football as a wide receiver and defensive back.

Moore's football career continued at the collegiate level, where he played for the University of Maryland from 2015 to 2017.

In his freshman year, Moore played in all 13 games and recorded 25 receptions for 357 yards and three touchdowns.

He was named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team that year. In his sophomore year, Moore had a breakout season,

with 41 receptions for 637 yards and six touchdowns, earning him the Big Ten Receiver of the Year award.

He followed up his sophomore season with an even more impressive junior year, recording 80 receptions for 1,033 yards and eight touchdowns.

Moore entered the 2018 NFL Draft and was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the first round, 24th overall.

In his rookie season, Moore played in all 16 games and caught 55 passes for 788 yards and two touchdowns.

He also had 172 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown. Moore's performance in his rookie year earned him a spot on the NFL All-Rookie Team.
