The Grand Mosque of Kuwait, also known as the Masjid Al-Kabir, is a magnificent Islamic center of worship located in Kuwait City.

It is one of the largest and most important mosques in the region and attracts millions of visitors every year.

The construction of the Grand Mosque of Kuwait began in 1979 and was completed in 1986.

It was built to replace the old mosque that had been demolished, which was also known as Masjid Al-Kabir.

The new mosque was designed by Danish architect Jorn Utzon, who was also responsible for the design of the famous Sydney Opera House.

The Grand Mosque of Kuwait is a stunning example of Islamic architecture, with its intricate geometric patterns, soaring minarets, and grand dome.

The mosque has a capacity to hold up to 10,000 worshippers at a time, with separate prayer areas for men and women.

The mosque features a number of impressive architectural elements, including a grand entrance hall, a large prayer hall, and several smaller prayer rooms.

The interior of the mosque is adorned with beautiful Islamic calligraphy and traditional geometric patterns, as well as intricate floral motifs.

One of the most striking features of the Grand Mosque of Kuwait is its grand dome, which measures 26 meters in diameter and stands 43 meters high.
