Chris Evans is an American actor best known for his portrayal of Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films.

Born on June 13, 1981, in Boston, Massachusetts, Evans began his acting career in the late 1990s, making his film debut in the teen comedy “Not Another Teen Movie” in 2001.

Evans gained popularity after appearing in several successful movies such as “The Fantastic Four,” “Sunshine,” and “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.”

However, it was his portrayal of Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, in the MCU films that catapulted him to worldwide fame.

Evans appeared in a total of 11 MCU films, including “Captain America: The First Avenger,” “The Avengers,” “Avengers: Infinity War,” and “Avengers: Endgame.”
